Job OverviewWe are seeking a diligent and proactive Kitchen Assistant Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our kitchen.Main Responsibilities:Support the day-to-day management of kitchen portersMaintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areasOrganise cleaning schedules and ensure duties are carried out efficientlyAssist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipmentTrain and motivate new and existing portersStep in for the Kitchen Porter Manager when neededEnsure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health 'safety regulationsLiaise with chefs and kitchen staff to meet operational needsAbout YouWe are looking for an individual with:Previous experience in a kitchen porter roleExperience in a supervisory or team leader capacity is preferredA strong work ethic with a hands-on approachExcellent time management and communication skillsAble to thrive in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of food hygiene and health 'safety standardsThis is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills and make a real impact in a busy kitchen environment.
