The company provides quality products, services and solutions worldwide with customers in over 150 countries.Do you have the right skills and experience for this role Read on to find out, and make your application.Our client is looking for an experienced Advanced Quality Engineer to join the new product launch team at this fast-paced plant in Sunderland.If you are willing to relocate under your own steam then you are welcome to apply.What will your responsibilities be?To ensure that all Advanced Quality Requirements are met for New Model Launches as per the corporate PLUS (Product Launch System) including: -Ensuring Control Plans are prepared to meet Prototype, Pre-Production and Production requirementsCompletion of Appearance Manual to relevant Customer StandardsEnsuring all gauging is validated and verified for production usageEnsuring all relevant Measurement and Capability data is conducted and data evaluatedEnsuring IMDS compliance across all BOM itemsConducting all Supplier APQP activities necessary in order to achieve Supplier PSW ApprovalEnsure Suppliers are conducting necessary DVP&R activities as part of PPAPEnsuring Grain Go and Colour Harmony / AAR events are held with the customer / supplier for approval of relevant components.Obtaining Supplier PPAP ApprovalWorking with all necessary company Departments in order to generate the contents of the Customer PPAPConducting all necessary communication with Customer in order to obtain Customer PSW ApprovalTo be part of the Simultaneous Development Team (SDT) and be responsible for communication of all Quality deliverables to this SDT.Ensure all Customer documentation requirements for each Build Phase is developed and actioned liaising with JIT Management for obtaining relevant JIT resource to meet this requirement.Full support within JIT Plant during each New Model build phase and, in conjunction with JIT Plant Quality Manager, ensuring that all Quality deliverables are achieved.Conducting Supplier Visits in order to determine status against APQP deliverables and to ensure that Supplier processes are approved to meet company expectationsEnsuring that company CCSC is conducted to ensure that ALL Critical Characteristics (CC) are fully controlled within JIT facility from definition of CCs as per DFMEA and Drawing through to Poka Yoke verification within the Production facilityAssure that customer and internally identified quality issues are resolved using the corporate problem solving methods (8D Report, Problem Solving Document PSD, PCAD, Kepner-Tregoe, etc.)Ensure that all Quality activities are performed in accordance with the latest company BOS, IATF16949 and Specific Customer Requirements.To present Quality Project status at both Internal Launch Readiness Reviews (LRRs) and External Customer ReviewsWhich qualifications are we looking for in potential AQE employees?BSc / BEng. degree is required or equivalent experienceSpecific education and training in Quality disciplines including minimum IATF16949,Continuous Improvement, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control plans, DOE and SPCMinimum 4 years in the Automotive IndustryMinimum 2 years in Quality areaKnowledge of the AIAG Quality Manuals (APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA etc)Manufacturing Quality system experience and customer communication activitiesCertification in Quality Engineering a plus.Lead or Internal auditor training to IATF16949 (TS16949) desirableFluent EnglishWillingness to travelBenefits: Excellent competitive salary34 days holiday including bank holidaysPension contributionAccess to employee discounts via My Reward GatewayOngoing training and career development opportunitiesEmployee Wellbeing programmeHours of work: Mon-Thurs 08:00 17:00, Friday 08:00 13:00 (39 hours)Advanced Quality EngineerSunderlandExcellent competitive salary + benefits Advanced Quality Engineer | Quality Engineer | Senior Quality Engineer | QE | SQE | Automotive Quality
