The role will be a permanent contract for the successful applicant and will be an ideal fit for those with previous experience within a Manufacturing / Engineering maintenance environment. The job you will do: To provide front line maintenance support to the manufacturing operations Fault finding of mechanical / electrical problems on production machines, undertaking repair, replacing parts or contracting in specialist services. Maintenance of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, steam and pressure systems and other plant and buildings. Undertake planned maintenance with the objective of prolonging the working life of machines with regular routine maintenance and service. Preventative and breakdown maintenance and inspection of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, steam systems. Enter preventative and reactive maintenance tasks into the system, noting parts or consumables used, time taken, and other sufficient records to form enough data to be able to use it to form a strategic and effective Preventative maintenance schedule. Undertake breakdown maintenance: fault finding, carrying our repairs/ fitting new parts, and returning machines to production as soon as possible. About you: Time served Maintenance Engineer with minimum NVQ Level 3 level qualification essential Ideally HNC / HND level Qualification or willing to study in the future Already holds or willing to undertake IOSH Health and Safety qualification Already undertaken or willing to undertake FLT driving certificate and IPAF Mewp certificate Already holds or willing to undertake relevant health and safety / safe working practices training.
