The Job Youll Do; Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, both locally and nationally within the industry. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue, enhance profitability, and improve the overall market positioning of the company. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and securing new customers. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts and foster long-term partnerships. Negotiations & Contracts: Lead contract negotiations with prospective clients and ensure all terms meet company objectives and profitability targets. Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify market gaps and opportunities for growth. Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as production, engineering, and finance to ensure the successful execution of projects and customer satisfaction. Proposal Development: Liaise with estimators in the preparation of tenders, and bids ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company capabilities. Reporting & Forecasting: Track and report on sales activities, market trends, and performance metrics to senior management. Develop sales forecasts and pipeline reports to ensure alignment with company goals. About You; Electrical Engineering related qualifications would be highly desirable A minimum of 3 years of business development experience in a related industry (electrical, civil, constriction, M&E etc.) Proven track record of successfully driving sales, securing new business, and increasing market share in a competitive environment. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
