As a fast-growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO), we pride ourselves on creating solutions that make a real difference to patients lives.In this laboratory-based role, you will:Work safely within established laboratory guidelines.Apply your expertise to complex solid form development projects.Receive full training and ongoing development in both quality control and solid form science, tailored to your experience.This is more than a jobits an opportunity to grow your career in a specialist field, contribute to transformative science, and be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and impact.If you are ambitious, curious, and ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you.The RoleThe role will entail conducting research and development projects within the following areas:Polymorphism screening.Salt screening.Cocrystal screening.Pre-formulation evaluation/ solid form selection.Crystallisation development to design processes suitable for clinical manufacture within a cGMP environment at scale.The role will also involve:Collaborating with colleagues across chemistry development, process chemistry, analytical science and manufacturing to ensure seamless project delivery from lab to 50L scale.Solid form characterisation and data interpretation using state-of-the-art techniques and equipment (XRPD, DSC, TGA, DVS, microscopy, NMR, HPLC, LC-MS, etc.). Contributing to client discussions, technical reports and project presentations.Ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.Ensuring standard operating procedures are followed at all times.Demonstrating good safety awareness, completion of COSHH assessments.About YouWe are looking for a driven scientist who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You will have:A PhD in Chemistry or a related field (essential).Strong problem-solving skills with the creativity to overcome scientific challenges.Excellent communication and organisational skills.
