This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturing business where you'll be responsible for testing and validating complex systems that support industries like aerospace, defence, and power technologies.As a Test Technician , youll support the testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electro-mechanical components and assemblies. Youll play a vital role in ensuring performance, reliability, and quality, while working closely with engineering and production teams.Key responsibilities of the Test Technician include:Perform functional, environmental, and performance testing on assemblies and systemsSet up and operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generatorsDocument test results and support root cause analysis of failed unitsRead and interpret engineering drawings, CMMs, and SOPsMaintain, calibrate, and ensure the safety of test equipmentCollaborate with engineering teams on prototype validationTake part in continuous improvement and 5S activities across the test processAbout You:The ideal Test Technician will have an HNC/HND in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, and at least 2 years experience in a similar test environment.
