HGV Refuse Collection Driver

Our public sector client based in Sudbury, Suffolk has an exciting opportunity for an experience HGV Refuse Collection Driver to join their team as soon as possible! The role will be temporary on going initially, working 6:30am-3:00pm Monday to Friday with a pay rate of 15.52 per hour. Duties of the role will include:- Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily Undertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques as appropriate Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed Complete relevant paperwork in real time Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before an after use Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users In order to be considered for the role you must have:- Valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (with no more than 6 points) Driver CPC We are looking for someone with willingness to help refuse loaders whilst on rounds to enable the team to complete the route within the service level agreement and so physical fitness is also required, along with good communication skills, self-motivation and a willingness to undertake all tasks.
