Mechanical Technician / Fitter Stroud, Paying: 14.42p/h + Monthly Bonus + Overtime (up to 15 hrs/week @ 1.5x 21.63p/h) Hours: MonThu 07:3016:30, Fri 07:3014:00 (Early finish!) 40 hrs/week, Permanent full time contract Were looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join a market-leading engineering company producing world-class assemblies for high-performance industries. Youll be hands-on from day one, building complex products from scratch and working to exacting standards. The Role Carry out sub-assembly and final assembly of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic systems Build fabricated assemblies using marking out, cutting, folding, pipe bending & weld prep Fit and route hydraulic/pneumatic systems with precision Read and work from detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings Perform quality checks to ensure perfect alignment, finish and function Support other production tasks when required, working as part of a close-knit team About You Proven mechanical fitting/assembly experience in manufacturing or engineering Confident in reading technical drawings Skilled with hand and power tools, with excellent attention to detail Background in Aviation, Military, Marine, or similar is highly beneficial Benefits 70 monthly tool allowance (full attendance) 250+ monthly production bonus 3% employer pension contribution Death in service benefit (2x salary) Regular overtime at enhanced rates Supportive team environment + early Friday finish This is a fantastic chance for motivated and dependable individuals to join a world-class manufacturing team and build a career with a respected industry leader.
