LOCATION: Stroud, Gloucestershire DAILY TIMES: Shift pattern of two weeks on days and one week on lates Day hours: 07.30 16.30 Monday - Thursday and 07.30 - 12.30 Friday Lates shift hours:14.00 23.00 Minday to Thursday START DATE: ASAP PAY: 15.00- 20.00ph dependent on experience. 30% upload when on the late shift Shift work possible Permanent job Job: CNC SLIDING HEAD SETTER/OPERATOR ESS Employment Ltd is looking for a CNC Sliding head Setter and Operator. Operating and setting using Fanuk, Siemens & Mazatrol control panels. You will be required to set and/or operate various CNC machines, monitoringthe machining process to ensure the finished parts are to a high standard. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator/Miller/Turner to work on complex manufactured components. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in the following: - Precision engineering to tight tolerances Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator/Miller/Turner Mechanical engineering Readingengineering drawings Operating/loading machinery Working within an engineering environment Supply to high profile customers in various sectors Experience of operating and setting a sliding head machine Ability to set intricate parts for milling Flexible and adaptable to be able to complete all tasks with accuracy, and within fine tolerances Experience with either Fanuc, Siemens or Mazatrol is essential Experience of precision components is highly desirable I look forward to your application.
