About the Role We are currently seeking a highly capable Health, Safety & Facilities Manager to join the senior site leadership team. This role is ideal for a motivated and knowledgeable professional with experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, particularly where manual handling equipment is used. Key Responsibilities: Report to the General Manager and lead all Health, Safety & Facilities matters across the site. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation and regulations. Lead and manage regular safety audits, daily operational frameworks, and ongoing risk assessments. Develop and implement site-wide HSE policies and a continuous improvement plan. Act as a key liaison with regulatory authorities, ensuring accurate representation and compliance. Maintain and manage statutory inspection schedules and facilities management contractors. Lead incident investigations, ensure timely reporting (including RIDDOR), and implement preventative measures. Support the training and development of site staff on health and safety best practices Candidate Requirements Knowledge and Experience: NEBOSH Diploma (Part 1) or NVQ Level 4 in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent). Proven experience in a similar role within warehousing, logistics, or industrial operations. Strong understanding of HSE legislation and regulations. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiar with facilities and maintenance management. Personal Qualities: Excellent communicator and team player. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Able to take initiative and manage multiple priorities in a high-paced environment. Comfortable working in a site that is still evolving its operational practices.
