Up to 42,000 DOE, pension and life assurance 25+8 days holiday, 0730-1600 Mon-Fri This role covers all aspects of toolmaking - including CNC programming, machining, surface grinding, spark eroding, and bench work - and is ideal for someone seeking greater responsibility beyond traditional machining, benching, and toolmaking tasks. In the role of Toolmaker, your duties will include: Manufacture new tooling as well as jigs and fixtures. Carry out tool repair and modification. Maintain tooling documentation. Using CAD data to program CNC machines. Assembly and bench work. To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Toolmaker, the ideal candidate will: Have a solid understanding of injection mould tool manufacturing. Be able to read complex engineering drawings. Be competent in the use of CAM software. Have experience of CNC programming. Possess a solid understanding of toolroom equipment, able to manufacture new tooling, jigs and fixtures as well as repairs/modifications.
