The company is renowned for high standards and quality workmanship.Youll be responsible for programming, setting, and operating 2-axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, producing precision components to specification, and working with CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360) to develop and optimise programs.This is a Full-Time, Permanent position offering long-term stability and excellent working conditions.What youll be doingProgram, set, and operate 2-axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controlsCreate and optimise CNC programs using Fusion 360 or similar CAD/CAM softwareInterpret detailed engineering drawings to produce precision componentsManufacture small batches of intricate, high-quality partsConduct thorough inspections and quality checks using measuring equipmentEnsure all work is completed in line with safety standards and company proceduresMaintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detailHoursMonday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm & Friday 8am-3:30pmPayApprox 35,000 per annum(Depending on Experience)Overtime available and paid at time Skills/Experience RequiredExperience in CNC turning/programming (5 years + preferred) Proficient in programming Fanuc-controlled lathesExperience with Fusion 360 or equivalent CAD/CAM softwareStrong ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsConfident using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, etcExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsPositive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a teamBenefits 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)Company pension schemeOvertime available (paid at time and a half)Clean, modern working environmentRelaxed and supportive atmosphereTraining and development opportunitiesFree onsite parkingDay shifts onlyNo weekend workEssentialAll applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).All applicants must be able to commute to Stoke-on-Trent.
