Principal Engineer EC&I - Staffordshire - 60-70k + hybrid working + 10% bonus + 30 days annual leave + BUPA Please make an application promptly if you are a good match for this role due to high levels of interest.+++Must have a British passport and not hold dual nationality for security clearance+++Ambitious, growing company is recruiting for a Degree qualified Principal Engineer or a Senior / Lead Electrical Engineer ready to make the step up to Principal Engineer, with experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams to work in the defence sector. Key aspects of the Principal Engineer role include Take charge of and lead project teams delivering electrical control systems, industrial software and electrical safety systems to customers in the defence sectorCompany is growing and has a full order book of projects and theyre delivering projects in a rapidly growing industry with huge investments being made Have first class stakeholder engagement and management skillsPrincipal Engineer will initiate, oversee and lead all engineering activities on a project or group of projectsKnowledge of working to ISO 9001 standards is keyOversee the activities of the team and help overcome problems by providing guidance A Principal Engineer working towards Chartered status will be supported and mentoredYoull need to be a British passport holder and have lived in the UK for at least the last 5 years, as youll be put through security clearance if you havent already got it.Be comfortable working in the defence sector The management team encourages a sensible work-life balance which encourages everyone to leave the office by 4.30pm daily and have 30 days holiday per year, as well as the statutory Bank Holidays xjdpvnf Role will initially be based from the Stafford office (3 days per week) and home (2 days per week) with occasional day trips to customer sites Principal Engineer package - Up to 10% bonus30 days holiday + statutory daysPrivate healthcare includes family members after 6 months service6% pension contribution2 days a week from home (everyone works from home on Mondays and Fridays) The clients' offices are easily commutable from Stoke, Stafford, Cannock, Lichfield, Telford, Uttoxeter, Stone.
