Are you passionate about building a world-class safety culture in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are looking for a proactive, hands-on EHS & Training Officer to champion health, safety, environment and skills development across our Stoke on Trent plant.Commutable fromStoke on Trent, Congleton, Uttoxeter, Eccleshall, Market Drayton, Stafford, Ashbourne, Rocester, Biddulph, Alsager, Nantwich, Crewe, Cheddleton and AltonKEY RESPONSIBILIITESDrive a strong, visible EHS culture across site operationsPromote and embed the 15 Principles for Good EHS BehaviourLead and support robust site risk assessments (suitable, sufficient, compliant, reviewed on time)Develop and improve Safe Systems of WorkLead accident & incident investigations, ensuring effective corrective actionsPlan and facilitate internal audits, including APSSupport and maintain ISO 14001, 45001 & 50001 standardsParticipate in and prepare for external auditsDrive waste and energy reduction initiativesOversee COSHH compliance and assessmentsConduct contractor audits and noise surveysProvide expert EHS advice to Operations and site teamsMaintain accurate EHS documentation and recordsSupport New Product Introduction from an EHS perspectiveDevelop innovative initiatives to continuously improve site safetyDeliver engaging EHS inductions for employees, contractors, and visitors.REQUIREMENTSNEBOSH (General Certificate minimum; Diploma preferred)IEMA qualificationISO 14001 Auditor (required)ISO 45001 Lead Auditor (advantageous)A confident EHS professional with strong knowledge of ISO 14001, 45001 & 50001Experienced in manufacturingA skilled trainer and presenter (Train the Trainer qualification desirable)You bring several years of progressive EHS experience within FMCG, automotive or similar production environments.What are you waiting for?
