Funding and Audit ManagerRead on to fully understand what this job requires in terms of skills and experience If you are a good match, make an application.Full time, 37 hours, permanent 43,694 - 46,363 per annum What we are looking for: Burton and South Derbyshire College are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Funding and Audit Manager to lead our learner funding operations and ensure compliance across a wide range of FE, HE, and Apprenticeship streams.This is a key role within our MIS team-perfect for an analytical, detail-focused professional who thrives on improving processes, safeguarding compliance, and supporting the financial sustainability of the College.You will be ourin-house expert on funding, overseeing ILR returns, audit readiness, data integrity, and funding claims, while also deputising for the Head of Business Intelligence.If you're driven by accuracy, passionate about education funding, and confident working with complex data systems, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing Leading on funding submissions, including ILR returns, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.Acting as the College's key specialist for FE, HE, Apprenticeship and other funding streams-and advising senior leaders on funding risks and opportunities.Managing audit preparation, co-ordinating responses to external auditors, and ensuring we meet all internal and external audit requirements.Ensuring data accuracy across MIS systems, analysing learner records, and reconciling information with external funding bodies.Developing and updating policies, processes, and documentation relating to funding and compliance.Providing training, updates, and expert advice on funding rules and regulatory changes.Deputising for the Head of Business Intelligence.Supporting key MIS functions such as enrolment, timetabling, examinations, and data quality management.Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths.
