HR Manager - 6 month FTC Location: Stoke on Trent, ST1 5PZHours of work: 37.5 (Open to Part Time / Full Time)Contract Type: Fixed Term ContractWe are seeking an experienced HR Manager to partner with managers and teams to foster strong, positive working relationships across the business.This is a great opportunity for someone seeking flexibility while making a real impact at both strategic and operational levels.We are accepting full time and part time applications for this role.Job DescriptionYour core focus will be on employee relations, advising on restructures, and guiding managers through people policies and processes.You’ll also collaborate with Centres of Expertise (CoEs) to implement People & Culture initiatives, including annual cycles and change programmes, ensuring they are successfully embedded into the business.This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving positive organisational change.Key ResponsibilitiesProvides ER policy guidance and coaching to reduce riskManages grievance and disciplinary cases with manager supportSupports restructures and TUPE processes with CoE involvementLiaises with unions where appropriateImplements and embeds people initiatives and solutionsAligns with BU people plans and People Advisory trendsEnsures P&C activities are delivered effectively into the businessProfessional and Personal Competencies/QualificationsStrong P&C generalist experience with UK employment law and TUPE knowledgeDegree or CIPD qualified (or working towards)Skilled in conflict resolution, coaching, and mediationDelivers disciplinary, grievance, restructure, and union processesBuilds trusted relationships with managers and CoEsImplements people solutions to meet business needsClear communicator with a focus on placemaker and manager experienceThe CompanyISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
