We empower our teams with the tools, trust and freedom to explore new ideas, shape their careers, and make a meaningful impact.Were now looking for a Senior Design & Planning Executive to join our Design Team and play a key role in delivering commercially successful, high-quality developments.The RoleAs Senior Design & Planning Executive, you will be responsible for:Preparing and submitting detailed design and construction informationProducing technical viability assessmentsSecuring planning and technical approvalsManaging external consultant teamsProviding technical support throughout the build processWorking proactively with local planning authoritiesDelivering commercially viable design solutions and high-quality placemakingYou will bring strong in-house design experience and advanced technical, planning and development expertise to support the continued growth and development of the Design Team.Key ResponsibilitiesHealth, Safety & EnvironmentApply CDM, BSA and environmental regulations into design and site deliveryDesign out risk and maintain high safety standardsManage environmental and ecological constraintsSupport implementation of CDM, EMS and BSA proceduresContribute to environmental action plansLand, Planning & Community EngagementLead planning applications and secure approvalsManage community consultationsAppoint and manage consultant teamsEvaluate and appraise development opportunitiesContribute to site-specific viability reportsDischarge planning conditions in line with programmePre-Development ManagementProduce site layouts and design packagesDeliver sustainable, commercially viable design solutionsEnsure compliance with Building Regulations and statutory authoritiesCoordinate engineers and consultantsManage professional fees and project budgetsDeliver designs aligned to project milestonesUnderstand affordable housing policy and requirementsDevelopment ManagementProvide technical support to site and regional teamsCoordinate technical documentationLiaise with NHBC and site teamsPrepare and maintain legal plansAbout YouWere looking for someone who:Holds a degree in Planning, Architecture or a related discipline (or can demonstrate transferable expertise)Has at least 5 years experience in planning and developmentHas experience working for a developer, housebuilder or consultancyUnderstands viability, commercial drivers and programming impactCan manage consultants and multiple stakeholders effectivelyCommunicates confidently at all levelsIs proactive, self-motivated and solutions-focusedWhat We OfferWe are committed to supporting your career and personal growth.
