You will be responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day transport management, maintaining legal compliance, and delivering exceptional service standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage transport operations across Port Clarence and HebburnLead, motivate, and develop transport teams to achieve operational targetsEnsure full compliance with all transport legislation, including Drivers Hours and WTDManage route planning and operational efficiency to control costs and maximise performanceMonitor fleet and driver performance, implementing improvements where requiredEnsure safe and compliant handling of tanker and hazardous goods operationsInvestigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implementedMaintain high levels of customer service and operational reliabilityRequirementsTransport Manager CPC (Essential)Proven experience in transport operations managementTanker experience (Essential)DGSA / ADR knowledge or experience (Essential)Strong transport planning experienceExcellent knowledge of transport compliance and legislationStrong leadership, communication, and organisational skillsApply NowIf you are an experienced Transport professional looking for your next challenge, we want to hear from you.
