Profile Burner?Location - StockportSalary - £14.65 per hourHours Monday Thursday, 7am 5pmProfile BurnerWere looking for an experienced Profile Burner to join a leading metal fabrication business with over 40 years of experience producing precision steel components for clients across multiple industries. Youll be responsible for cutting heavy steel plate to exact specifications, using modern Profile Burning equipment and working from detailed engineering drawings.Profile BurnerKey Responsibilities: Operate profile cutting machinery (oxy-fuel and/or plasma) to produce components to specification. Read and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy and quality. Select and set cutting parameters, adjust torch settings, and monitor cutting operations. Handle and position steel plates using overhead cranes and other lifting equipment. Carry out routine equipment checks, maintenance, and nozzle changes. Perform quality inspections on completed parts to meet tolerance requirements. Work in line with all Health & Safety procedures for hot works and heavy material handling.Profile BurnerSkills & Experience Required: Proven experience in profile burning / flame cutting / CNC plate cutting. Ability to read and work from engineering drawings. Strong understanding of tolerances and plate materials (mild steel, stainless, etc.). Experience with thick plate cutting (10100mm+).
