Our client is currently seeking an experienced Aerospace/Aircraft Fitter with a background in structural work to help build complex assemblies for high-performance aircraft platforms.Duties as an Aircraft/Aerospace Fitter -*Assemble precision-engineered metallic components into airframe sub-assemblies, following detailed instructions and diagrams.*Operate a variety of hand and power tools to carry out tasks such as:*Precision drilling and countersinking*Rivet installation (various types)*Application of aerospace-grade sealants and bonding agents*Insertion of thread repair systems (e.g. helicoils), bearings, and bushes*Ensure all work meets rigorous aerospace manufacturing and quality standards.*Follow established safety protocols and support a clean, organised working environment by upholding 5S principles.Experience/skills needed from the Aircraft/Aerospace Fitter-*Hands-on experience in aerospace assembly, ideally within a structural or airframe setting.*Confident interpreting technical drawings and documentation.*Knowledge of mechanical joining methods, sealants, and structural fasteners.*Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to del...
