Job Description Electronics EngineerLocation: Stockport Area (Hybrid Work from Home Available)Salary: Up to 60,000KO2s client, an innovative engineering company based in the Stockport area, is looking to recruit a talented Electronics Engineer to join their growing R&D team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working across the full product development lifecycle, with a strong focus on electronics design while also contributing to embedded software development.The RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of electronic hardware for new and existing products. The position is approximately 80% electronics design and 20% embedded software development, making it ideal for an engineer who enjoys hardware design but is comfortable contributing to firmware when required.You will work closely with a multidisciplinary engineering team to develop robust, high-quality solutions from concept through to production.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop analogue and digital electronic circuitsSchematic capture and PCB designSupport product development from concept through to testing and manufactureContribute to embedded C firmware development for microcontroller-based systemsDebug and test hardware and embedded systemsCollaborate with other engineers across software, mechanical, and systems teamsRequirementsDegree in Electronics Engineering or a related disciplineStrong experience in electronic circuit design (analogue and digital)Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout toolsSome experience with embedded C programmingExperience working with microcontrollersStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsDesirable ExperienceExperience with product development for manufactureKnowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UARTLab testing and validation experienceWhats on OfferSalary up to 60,000Hybrid working with flexibility to work from homeOpportunity to work on innovative electronic productsCollaborative and supportive engineering environmentLong-term career development within a growing companyIf youre an Electronics Engineer who enjoys hands-on design work and wants to be part of a team developing exciting new technology, wed love to hear from you.
