Residential Conveyancer/Paralegal

Job Description We're recruiting for a Residential Conveyancer OR Paralegal on behalf of our client in Greater Manchester, to be based in their Stockport office.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous conveyancing experience who is looking to progress their career. Youll be part of a supportive, collaborative team and will manage your own caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion, with the support of a dedicated conveyancing assistant.A formal qualification isnt essential, it would be a nice-to-have. The key requirement is solid experience handling a broad range of residential conveyancing matters from start to finish including sales, purchases, freehold, leasehold, transfers, remortgages.Key responsibilitiesHandle a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, including shared ownership transactions, new builds, transfers of equity, adverse possession, transfers of part, and remortgages.Manage files independently from initial instruction through to completion.Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, developers, solicitors, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth process throughout.About youPrevious experience managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work to deadlinesA solid understanding of residential conveyancing processes and procedures.Experience using case management systems, ideally P4W.Benefits24 days annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays and an additional 3 paid office closure days between Christmas and New YearBirthday day offHybrid working arrangements to support work-life balancePrivate health coverEnhanced sick payEnhanced maternity & paternity leaveEmployer pension contribution
