Job Description About the CompanyA well-established manufacturing site in Cowie is looking to appoint a Quality Manager to take ownership of the quality function across the site. The role has become available due to several long-serving team members retiring, creating an opportunity to step into a stable operation with a strong foundation already in place.About the RoleYou will be responsible for leading the Quality Management System, managing a small team of experienced QC Technicians, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. There is genuine scope to shape the quality function and develop the team in your own way.ResponsibilitiesOwnership and development of the site Quality Management SystemMaintain ISO 9001 certification and lead internal and external auditsManage, coach and develop the QC teamLead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issuesEnsure compliance with relevant standards and regulationsDrive continuous improvement using data, KPIs and CI toolsLiaise with suppliers and customers on quality mattersMaintain accurate quality documentation and reportingQualificationsProven experience in a Quality Manager role within manufacturingDegree qualified or equivalent industry experienceFully qualified ISO 9001:2015 auditorStrong background in quality systems, audits and complianceConfident communicator with experience working cross-functionallyRequired SkillsThis is a hands-on, site-based role offering long-term stability and the chance to make a real impact.
