This is an exciting opportunity to join the Persimmon Homes Construction Team as a Senior Site Manager reporting into the Contracts Manager. The purpose of the role is to manage the construction site according to company guidelines and goals, ensuring all aspects of the project are in conformity with proposed budgets, timelines and construction and quality standards. What you'll do as a Senior Site Manager:Manage a construction site, to ensure the development is completed on time, to specification and safety regulations, while complying with company and construction build and quality standardsEnsure all quality and safety inspections are within quality control standards and carried out in accordance with Group guidelinesFacilitate communication and coordinate activities with external third-parties, such as warranty provider, local authorities and utility companies to ensure achievement of the build programmeMaintain accurate records for the development including but not limited to, staff inductions, Health, Safety and Environment, timesheets, incident reports, quality control checklistsEnsure materials are called off in a timely manner and checked and stored in accordance with Group guidelinesDirect and supervise activity of the workforce, including all subcontractors, to ensure works are completed on time, to the desired quality standards and within budgetWork cohesively with other departments across the Operating Company such as Sales and Customer Care to ensure achievement of targets, for example prompt resolution of customer care issues and timely updates relating to plot progressEnsure compliance of the site workforce and all visitors with the Group Health, Safety and Environment Policy to minimise incidents and accidentsThis role will involve travel across various sites in the region as well as occasional trips to other Group officesWhat experience do I need?A proven track record of managing the full lifecycle of a construction development siteExperience within the house building industry is essentialUnderstanding of the NHBC or /LABC/Premier standardsUnderstanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislationCurrent CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) are essentialFull UK Driving Licence is required Qualified to minimum NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management preferred TPBN1_UKTJ
