This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of electronic innovation, supporting the development and manufacture of next-generation systems used in some of the most advanced defence technologies in the world.What you’ll be doing:• Provide hands-on technical support to electronic design engineers, assisting with test, diagnostics, and fault-finding activities across analogue, digital, RF, and optical technologies.• Support the design and manufacture of cutting-edge electronic subsystems — including missile computers, actuation systems, data links, telemetry systems, and seekers.• Carry out testing, prototyping, qualification, trials, and acceptance activities in a state-of-the-art lab environment.• Work with oscilloscopes, waveform generators, dataloggers, spectrum analysers, and other diagnostic equipment.• Maintain accurate test documentation, contribute to data analysis, and support continuous improvement within production and development teams.• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers and contribute to new product introduction and research programmes.What we’re looking for:Essential:• HNC or equivalent qualification in an electrical or electronic discipline.• Solid understanding of electronics fundamentals and applied mathematics.• Practical experience with testing and fault-finding in a lab or production environment.• Competence in using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, waveform generators, and spectrum analysers.• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills with good attention to detail.Desirable:• Experience supporting production or prototype environments.• Familiarity with analogue, digital, RF, and optical technologies.• Understanding of design processes, kitting logistics, and prototype progression.• Confident communication and report writing skills.What’s in it for you:• Up to £2,500 company bonus (performance-based)• Pension scheme with total contributions up to 14%• Opportunity for paid overtime• Up to 15 additional flexi-leave days• Enhanced parental leave – up to 26 weeks for maternity, adoption, and shared parental leave, plus enhanced paternity, neonatal, and fertility treatment leave• Excellent onsite facilities including subsidised meals, gym, café, and free parkingTake the next step in your electronics career with a globally respected organisation where hands-on innovation and professional development go hand in hand.For further information feel free to reach me at 02895213213, or simply apply!
