Job Title: Injection Mould Toolmaker Position: permanent Location: Stevenage Salary: 40000 per annum Working hours: 41.5 per week Monday- Thursday 8-5pm Monday-Friday 8-4pm Benefits: 23 days holiday plus bank holiday Auto Enrolment Pension Flexibility on hours Onsite Parking 23 days Holiday + BH 41.5 hours per week Overtime available We are now seeking to recruit Injection Mould Toolmaker to carry out manufacture and modification of Injection mould tools in a modern well equipped toolroom, with Hurco machining centres, Sodick Wire eroders, Sodick CNC Spark eroders, Jones & Shipman surface grinders, in house design using Pro Engineer and CAM programming using Powermill Main Duties and Responsibilities: Use of manual milling machines Use of lathes Use of surface and cylindrical grinders Use of manual and CNC spark eroders Use of CNC wire eroder Modification & repair of Injection Mould Tools Manufacture and fitting of new injection mould tools Using hand tools such as files, hacksaws and grinders Experience in general toolmaking, milling, grinding and fitting Wiring of Hot runner systems and fault finding To be considered for the role you must have: Experience in injection mould Toolmaking, and high precision machining, milling, grinding and fitting Understand and have experience of fitting and assembly of complex mould tools including their repair Maintenance, repair and modification of Injection Mould Tools Preparing new Mould Tools for Production Candidate to have the ability to communicate well and be part of a team in a small business If you think this is appropriate opportunity, please email your CV to ;or contact Marta on 01453 852 542 Omega is an employment agency specialising in opportunities at all levels within the Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, Defence, Scientific, Energy & Renewables and Tech sectors.
