Job Description Commercial Contracts Manager PermanentWe are partnering with a leading high-technology organisation to recruit a Commercial Contracts Manager. This is a critical role within the business, offering the opportunity to contribute directly to strategic objectives and make a tangible impact.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the negotiation of commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and full contractual compliance.Manage the complete Route to Contract, including the bidding process, proposal generation, and contract negotiations, while maintaining business viability.Oversee contract delivery, including amendments, reviewing deliverables, and agreeing acceptance criteria.Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, including amendments, renewals, and closeout processes.Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including ITAR, EAR, FAR/DFARS.Identify and mitigate contract-related risks in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Serve as the primary point of contact for contractual matters, liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners.Provide regular reporting to senior management on contract status, risks, and significant issues.Manage and resolve contract disputes in collaboration with legal and other departments.Candidate RequirementsProven commercial experience within a defence or high-technology environment.Demonstrated ability to draft, negotiate, and agree contracts and agreements.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple contracts in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.Familiarity with MoD contracting structures, including DEFCONs and QDCs, is preferred.Location and Working PatternThis role is based in Stevenage.Security and Nationality RequirementsDue to the nature of work at the clients site, these vacancies are only open to British Citizens who hold or are eligible for Government Security Clearance.This is a permanent role.Electus Recruitment Solutions provides specialist engineering and technical recruitment solutions to a number of high-technology industries.
