No.: CJD2102K26Location: Based near StevenageSalary: 30,000 - 40,000This is an exciting opportunity to join my client, a market-leading, sustainably-minded Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for lending their skills and expertise to a variety of projects across the transport planning, infrastructure, and water sectors. They are actively searching for a professional, skilled SuDS Designer, who is willing to take on a number of challenging projects across the region. You will be based near the lively, historical town of Stevenage.Benefits for the role of SuDS Designer include (but are not limited to):Competitive salary (depending on skills and experience)Employee Pension SchemeGenerous annual leaveFlexible/hybrid workingDedication to your Continuing Professional Development (CPD), with good career progression opportunitiesAn inclusive working environment, with a focus on innovative thinkingResponsibilities for the role of SuDS Designer include:Producing detailed Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) designs for a variety of projects, particularly residential developmentsContributing to planning applications and construction phasesDeveloping a range of sustainable drainage and infrastructure solutions across the local regionCollaborating with a team of experts in the field, contributing to a range of exciting projectsRequired skills and experience for the role of SuDS Designer include:A UK Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, or a similar, relevant disciplineExtensive experience of SuDS and wider Civil Engineering design, particularly for residential projects and new developmentsExcellent working knowledge of the relevant software systems, including AutoCAD, Causeway Flow, InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage, Civils 3D, etc.Substantial experience of producing detailed designs in support of planning applications and at varying stages of constructionCompetent understanding of the relevant Section Agreements (e.g., S104, S38, etc.)Good working knowledge of flood risk and mitigation, including Flood Risk Assessments, etc.Desirable skills and experience for the role of SuDS Designer include:A higher qualification in a relevant subjectPossess Chartered Status with a relevant Professional Body (e.g., ICE, CIWEM, etc.), or actively working to attain thisPossess a full, valid UK Driving LicenceIf you are interested in the role of SuDS Designer, please do not hesitate to contact Caroline Davis at Penguin Recruitment.
