The Electronics Project Coordinator role offers hands-on learning from experienced Project Managers, fast-tracking your career into full Engineering Project Management within a collaborative, growth-focused defence environment.The roleAs an Electronics Project Coordinator, you'll support Engineering Project Management teams to deliver complex defence projects on time, cost, and quality. This includes project execution, bid support, and supply chain coordination, shadowing senior PMs while gaining real ownership of scheduling and reporting. It's the ideal launchpad for ambitious engineers ready to step into Project Management.What you will be doingManaging project scheduling using Primavera P6 and data analysis in Excel for multiple defence electronics projects.Supporting bid management: cost estimation, resource planning, and proposal preparation as Electronics Project Coordinator.Coordinating supply chain activities, tracking deliveries, and resolving issues with suppliers.Shadowing experienced PMs on stakeholder updates, risk registers, and project reporting.Contributing to team delivery while building skills for independent project ownership.What we are looking forTechnical degree (ideally Electronics Engineering) with exposure to electronic product development.Solid experience in an engineering context, including basic Primavera P6 and advanced Excel skills.Proactive mindset, excellent communication, and passion for Project Management development.British Citizen or Dual with British citizenship (for BPSS security checks).Ability to work hybrid (12 days on-site in Stevenage; flexible full/part-time options).Nice-to-haves: Defence/aerospace background, bid/supply chain experience, PRINCE2/APM fundamentals.What's on offerCompetitive salary up to 45,000 based on experience.Company bonus up to 2,500, pension up to 14% total contribution.Flexi leave (up to 15 extra days), enhanced parental leave, overtime opportunities.Hybrid working (mostly remote, on-site for collaboration), free parking, subsidised meals.Clear career path to Engineering Project Manager with training support.Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be British Citizens eligible for UK security clearance (BPSS).If this sounds like your wheelhouse, make an application today!
