Job Description Manufacturing Controller12 month contractBased in StevenageOffering 25.26ph Inside IR35Do you have stores experience in a manufacturing environment?Do you want to work with an industry-leading company?If your answer to these is yes, then this could be the role for you!As the Manufacturing Controller, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.You will be involved in:Stock control/storekeeping including shelf life controlLoading the manufacturing cells with the requisite jobs in accordance with planned lead and cycle times, in order to comply with manufacturing programmes and delivery schedulesPacking including the use of hand toolsReceiving and issuing of toolingUpdating computer recordsKitting activityLoading and unloading of LorriesYour skillset may include:Experience in a stores environment or manufacturing controlAttention to detailWork on own with minimal supervisionManual handling trainingLifting & Slinging training (Including overhead cranes)ESD trainingPC skills, including EXCELFork lift truck licenceKnowledge of Kanban and 2 bin systemsExperience with an Enterprise Planning System e.g. SAPIf this all sounds like something you will be interested in then simply apply and we can discuss the opportunity further!
