The OpportunityYoull take ownership of fire system projects from initial enquiry through to completion, while producing accurate, competitive estimates. This role offers excellent variety, responsibility, and the chance to work across multiple systems and projects. Key ResponsibilitiesEstimating & DesignPrepare detailed quotations, tenders, and technical specificationsInterpret client requirements, drawings, and site surveysDesign and price fire alarm systems (conventional & analogue addressable)Estimate additional systems including:Emergency lightingPA/VA systemsNurse call systemsDisabled refuge & alarm systemsPresent proposals to clients where requiredProject ManagementManage projects from handover through to completionCoordinate engineers and schedule installationsMonitor progress against timelines and construction programmesLiaise with clients and stakeholders throughoutManage variations, changes, and additional worksEnsure materials are ordered and delivered on timeTeam & OperationsSupport and oversee installation engineersApprove timesheets and manage holidays/absenceProvide technical guidance to internal teamsAssist with workload planning and departmental prioritiesCommercial & AdminPrice works orders, call-outs, and variationsPrepare documentation for invoicingHandle customer queries professionallySupport audits and compliance inspections On-CallParticipation in an escalation rota for emergency call-outs (as required).
