Toolmaker Injection Mould Tooling Location: Hertfordshire Salary: Up to 40,000 per annum (DOE) Core Hours: MonThurs 08:0017:00 | Fri 08:0016:00 Benefits: 23 days holiday plus bank holidays Company pension scheme Flexible working approach On-site parking Excellent working conditions Modern, well-equipped toolroom Friendly, approachable management Strong team culture within a growing business Relaxed yet productive working environment Overtime available Company Overview A well-established UK injection mould tooling and moulding specialist with over 40 years of industry experience is looking to recruit an experienced Toolmaker due to continued growth and recent investment in modern facilities and machinery.Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.The business provides full turnkey tooling solutions and offers a stable, professional environment with a varied and technically engaging workload.The Role You will be responsible for the manufacture, modification, repair, and maintenance of injection mould tools within a modern toolroom environment.This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced Toolmaker who enjoys variety and technical challenge. xjdpvnf Key Responsibilities: Manufacture, fitting, and modification of injection mould tools Repair, maintenance, and fault-finding of existing mould tools Manual milling and turning (conventional mills and lathes) Surface and cylindrical grinding Use of spark erosion and wire erosion equipment (desirable, not essential) Preparation of new mould tools for production Hot runner wiring and basic fault diagnosis Working from engineering drawings and specifications Maintaining quality, safety, and housekeeping standards Skills & Experience: Proven experience in injection mould toolmaking Strong fitting, milling, grinding, and assembly skills Experience modifying and repairing complex mould tools Ability to work accurately under time constraints EDM spark and wire erosion experience advantageous CNC machining experience beneficial Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset Progression There is scope for progression into a Senior Toolmaker or Toolroom supervisory role for the right individual, with an enhanced package available.
