If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!I have recently teamed up with a national platform for advancing the energy transition.The Environmental and Sustainability Manager will take the lead in developing and executing the Company’s environmental management system and sustainability strategy across all operational functions.This role encompasses strategic planning, implementation, and oversight of sustainability initiatives to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and foster sustainable practices throughout the Company’s operations and energy assets.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain the Company’s environmental management systemISO 14001 certification.Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant environmental legislation and accreditation standards.Oversee the environmental compliance of heating, flexible generation, and battery storageDesign and manage programs aimed at reducing the environmental footprint of operationsSupport operational teams by integrating environmental best practices Identify and implement strategies to improve sustainability and environmental performance. Experience:Knowledge of environmental legislation, compliance, and best practicesExperience conducting Environmental aspects & Impacts assessmentAbility to produce gap analysis and plan to achieve ISO14001 accreditationEnvironmental Managment Environmental Risk Understanding of energy systemsExperience developing and managing sustainability initiativesAbility to build good working relationshipsOur client is paying up to £60k + benefits.
