Satellite System Engineer

Job Title: Satellite Systems EngineerLocation: Stevenage, UKDuration: 12 Months Contract - Possibility of extensionJob Profile:Interpret electrical and functional test requirements from specifications.Develop, debug, and execute test sequences/procedures for spacecraft systems using CCS, Elisa, and Java-based tools.Provide first-line support during spacecraft tests and investigate anomalies.Participate in test reviews and prepare reports. Participate in the Launch Test Campaigns.Support functional, performance, and environmental tests (TVAC, Magnetic, EMC).Skills & Experience:Experience writing and debugging test scripts/sequences for spacecraft tests, preferably with Elisa and Java.Knowledge of spacecraft systems (Data Handling, Communications, Attitude Control, Power, Thermal, FDIR).Familiarity with TMTC databases and Linux/Unix scripting (bash); programming skills (C, Java, Python, TCL) are a plus.Competent with electrical test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, data bus monitors).Understanding of system testing, verification, and cleanroom protocols.Willingness to work flexible hours/shifts.Electrical integration experience is a plus but not essential.
