This isn’t just about managing projects — it’s about delivering real business value, enforcing project governance, and owning change and release management across the enterprise.As PMO Lead, you will drive the strategic planning and execution of our project portfolio, embed governance frameworks, and lead a team of project professionals. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, delivering clear insight, structured roadmaps, and develop a culture of continuous improvement.This role is critical in aligning our project delivery with business goals and requires a confident, experienced professional who thrives in a fast paced environment.Key role and responsibilities:Build and Lead the PMO Function: Establish and mature a scalable, high-impact PMO aligned with business strategyGovernance & Control: Define and enforce project governance, change control, and release management across all initiativesStrategic Planning: Develop and maintain a business-aligned multi-year project roadmap; prioritise projects based on strategic valueTooling & Automation: Implement and manage project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, DevOps, etc.) to streamline reporting and executionPeople Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Project Managers and Analysts with a focus on structure, performance, and delivery.Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering insights, progress updates, and strategic recommendationsFinancial Ownership: Manage full project financials including forecasting, budgeting, vendor management, and financial reportingReporting & Metrics: Design and deliver executive dashboards, KPIs, and portfolio-level insights that drive business decisionsSkills & experience required: 10+ years in PMO, project, or portfolio leadership rolesStrong command of project governance, change and release managementDeep understanding of Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2, and hybrid delivery modelsProficiency with enterprise project tools – JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, DevOpsProven experience managing complex project portfolios and leading cross-functional teamsStrong financial acumen, with experience owning and controlling multi-project budgetsExcellent stakeholder engagement skills, including executive-level communicationA customer-first, business-aligned mindset with a focus on value deliveryExperience in IT change/release management (ITIL knowledge preferred)What you will receive in return: Competitive salary and benefits packageCareer progression opportunitiesAnnual profit share bonusEnhanced pension schemePrivate medical insuranceBupa dentalLife insurance & income protectionExtra day off on your birthdayEnhanced annual leave optionsFree parkingFresh fruit, snacks, and breakfast dailyAccess to a personal online learning platformStunning new office with a welcoming, community-focused environmentIncredible company parties and social eventsJoin us today and be apart of a growing company that values innovation, collaboration, and development.At Corona Energy, we believe that diversity and inclusion are essential to driving innovation and discovery.
