Vogue Sourcing is an exciting fast paced and dynamic fashion supplier based in Old Trafford. We are searching for a Kidswear Designer (Girls Outerwear) to join our team!ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Creating and developing original design ideas, concepts, embroideries, fabrications and seasonal themesSourcing of relevant fabrics to meet the design requirementsResponsible for own accountDeveloping original themes for seasonal collectionsCreating specs/tech packs for our factoriesEnsuring critical path is adhered to, and keep on top of all key datesAssist the design processLiaising with factories and overseas officesCreating relationships with buyersInspiration and sourcing trips abroadTrend packs/ colour inspirationManaging expenses and returnsABOUT YOU:+3 years minimum background in DesignA good understanding of illustrator and or photoshopCreative and trend driven with a good eye for colour and fabricFlexible and able to travel to Leicester and occasional overseas travel.Attentive to detail with the ability to think creativelyExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalTeam player and able to build relationshipsAbility to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesTo be able to deal with all challenges in a calm and positive mannerOUR BENEFITS PACKAGEFlexible working opportunityVitality private medical insurance (after 2 years service)Enhanced maternity pay25 days holiday plus bank holidaysBuying and selling holiday schemeBirthday day offSample SalesOpportunity to travelPension schemeSample salesBike2work scheme
