CNC Setter/Operator

Position : CNC setter (PM shift) Location: Cheltenham Type of work: permanent Salary : 36,434 inclusive of shift allowance Hours of work: 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday Start time and finish times: 14:00 23:30 (Monday to Thursday) We are now seeking multiple CNC setters to work for an Engineering & Manufacturing company based in Cheltenham. The appropriate candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating the CNC machines with Fanuc controls to manufacture precision engineering products. Responsibilities: Setting and operating CNC machines with Fanuc controls Working on technical engineering drawings Working with aluminium and stainless steel Ability to use measuring tools Ensuring excellent quality through the inspection of parts using measuring equipment such as gauges, verniers and micrometres. Requirement: Ideally, previous experience in setting and operating CNC Milling or lathes machines with Fanuc controls Ability to change tools and adjust offsets Ability to use measuring tools Ability to work the PM shift.
