Senior NPD Technologist

Alexander Steele are working with an established multi-site ambient food manufacturer in Durham who are looking to recruit a Senior NPD Technologist to join their Technical team.This is a great opportunity for an NPD professional looking to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, with a strong team structure and a real focus on product innovation.Responsibilities:Leading and supporting NPD and EPD projects from concept through to launch.Creating and developing product samples for customer presentations and internal approval.Working cross-functionally with Technical, Production, and Commercial teams to ensure feasibility and alignment.Supporting factory trials, scale-up, and process validation activities.Managing and maintaining accurate development documentation, including trial reports and specifications.Staying up to date with food trends, competitor activity, and new ingredient opportunities.On Offer:Annual Salary of £37,00033 Days Annual Leave (including bank holidays)Monday to Friday – Office HoursPension: 3% employer / 5% employeeIf this role sounds of interest or you have any further questions, then please apply with your most up-to-date CV and I will be in touch.
