Customer Support Technician Electrical Engineering / Service Support Location: Stamford, Lincolnshire Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: 30,000 - 32,0000 An innovative and well-established engineering business is seeking a Customer Support Technicianto join their service team. This role is ideal for someone with an electrical engineering background, a proactive attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional technical support to customers worldwide. Youll be supporting a range of electromechanical products including load banks and dynamometers, working both remotely and on-site to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the full product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on industrial test equipment Perform warranty work and upgrades in line with company and customer expectations Generate risk assessments, method statements, service reports, and fault analysis documentation Create and maintain troubleshooting guides and service documentation Log and track all service activity using SAP B1 Liaise across engineering, production, and sales to contribute to product improvement Support occasional on-site work globally, with flexibility for travel at short notice (typically one week, occasionally longer) What Were Looking For: Minimum ONC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering Experience supporting and repairingindustrial control systems Confident reading electrical schematics and circuit diagrams Clear communication and technical writing skills Organised, proactive, and able to work independently and in a team Comfortable with global travel and hands-on work in customer environments Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office software TPBN1_UKTJ
