Family Solicitor Location: Stafford Experience: 4-5+ Years PQE Type: Permanent / Full-Time Overview Our client, a well-established and reputable law firm, is seeking a dedicated Family Solicitor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor who is passionate about helping clients navigate sensitive and complex family law matters with professionalism, empathy, and care. Key Responsibilities Advise clients on a full range of family law matters , including divorce, separation, financial settlements, and private law children matters. Represent clients in court proceedings , mediations, and negotiations. Prepare and review legal documents such as petitions, agreements, and consent orders. Manage your own caseload independently , ensuring cases progress efficiently and effectively. Provide clear and compassionate communication throughout the client journey. Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals (including barristers, mediators, and social workers) to achieve positive outcomes. Keep up to date with developments in family law and maintain CPD compliance. Requirements Qualified Solicitor with 4-5+ years PQE in family law. Strong experience in financial remedy and private law children matters. Knowledge of cohabitation, pre-nuptial, and post-nuptial agreements . Excellent advocacy, drafting, and negotiation skills. Organised, motivated, and confident managing a busy caseload. Passionate about delivering exceptional client care and supporting families through challenging times.
