Job Description Junior Systems EngineerStaffordHybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)PermanentWe are recruiting for a Junior Systems Engineer to support the design and delivery of control system software across a range of engineering projects.This role offers the opportunity to work across the full project lifecycle, supporting PLC, SCADA and HMI system design while ensuring delivery is on time, within budget and to required quality standards. You will also support compliance with quality, health 'safety and environmental procedures, while contributing to continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Complete allocated software engineering activities across projectsSupport PLC, SCADA and HMI system design and developmentWork within multidisciplinary engineering teamsSupport technical documentation, reporting and tender activitiesLiaise with internal teams, clients and contractorsEnsure compliance with engineering, quality and safety standardsContribute to process improvement and best practiceSupport business development and estimating activitiesInterpret client requirements to deliver appropriate solutionsAbout You:Degree qualified (minimum 2:1) in a relevant engineering disciplineAt least 1 year of software development experience in a project environmentExperience with PLC, SCADA or HMI systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood communication and teamwork abilitiesAble to organise workload and meet deadlinesProactive with a willingness to learnRequirements:Eligible for UK security clearanceUK NationalMust have lived in the UK for the last 5 yearsAble to pass DBS and BPSS checksWilling to work in a regulated environment (nuclear/defence)Whats on Offer:Salary of 30,000Hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 days from homeWorking hours: MondayThursday 8:00am4:30pm, Friday 8:00am12:30pmTraining and development opportunitiesSupportive working environmentPrivate medical insurance after qualifying periodPension schemeApply:Please apply with your CV or contact [email protected] for more information.
