ElectroMechanical Engineer (Days)Were working with a large manufacturing business which operates 24/7 that is actively seeking to add an experienced ElectroMechanical Engineer to its Manufacturing Engineering Support teams.Location: Near St AustellSalary: £40,000 plus overtimeShifts - 42 hours per week average across 3-4 shiftsWorking Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for 4 weeks, then rotating to Thursday, Friday, Saturday for 4 weeks and every other Sunday day shift on rotation6.00am-18.00pm with a 1 hour paid breakThe successful candidate will be responsible for day to day running, repairs and maintenance of all production related equipment, including breakdown repairs and continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and general site facility tasks.To be successful, we would like you to have:Relevant training or have served an apprenticeshipA recognised industrial Electrical qualification. As well as training and qualification to IEE 18th/19th edition preferred.Experience working on drives and PCBs.Specific training where required will be provided, OEM suppliers and via remote modem diagnostic support from the OEM.Ability to work solo as an Electromechanical Engineer diagnosing, repairing and performing servicing tasks which are both electrical and petent to operate a lathe.MIG/TIG welding skills preferable although not essential.Have experience working as an Industrial Electrical Mechanical or Multiskilled Engineer (or similar) within Industrial, Manufacturing or Automation.Any experience in the printing or packaging industry would be beneficial but not essential.Experience with maintenance programmes within a large scale manufacturing environment.Have excellent communication, organisational and team work skillsSelf-motivation, ability to apply initiative and determinationStrong numeracy and literacy skills are essential.As you can imagine in such a busy role, we would like you to be able to demonstrate the necessary flexibility, enthusiasm and drive to work within a fast-paced department.Benefits:Excellent work/time-off balance: Average of 3.5 days off each week. 4 days off one week, 3 days off the following week7 weeks holiday per yearOvertime earning opportunities every weekDouble time overtime on specific weekend shiftsPaid breakFully funded ongoing training coursesTraining and development opportunities available leading to increased salary.Free on-site parkingElectric car subscription schemeCompany sick pay schemeTPBN1_UKTJ
