Job Description Position: Technical Sales ManagerLocation:St Albans, HertfordshireSalary: £60,000 per annum + up to £30,000 OTE + £5,000 car allowanceHours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pmReports to: Commercial Operations DirectorWe are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to join a well-established engineering and FM services provider, leading the development and conversion of project opportunities across the medical and healthcare sector. This role blends technical expertise with commercial acumen, providing tailored solutions that build client confidence, secure profitable projects, and strengthen long-term relationships.KeyResponsibilities:Drivebusiness development within hospitals, healthcare facilities, laboratories, and medical institutionsBuild strong client relationships with NHS Trusts, private providers, suppliers, and consultantsPrepare and deliver high-quality technical proposals and presentationsTranslate client requirements into compliant, cost-effective technical solutions (HTMs, HBNs, NHS standards)Support bid, pre-construction, and project scoping activities with technical and commercial inputAct as the link between clients and delivery teams, ensuring expectations are met throughout the project lifecycleSkills &Experience:Strongtechnical background in M&E projects, ideally within healthcareProven sales or business development experience in construction, engineering, or FMKnowledge of healthcare standards and compliance (HTM/HBN guidance)Excellent stakeholder engagement, presentation, and negotiation skillsCommercial awareness with experience in pricing and contract managementAbility to travel nationally for client meetings and site visitsDesirable:Experiencewith medical equipment installations (imaging, theatres, clean rooms)Existing client relationships in the healthcare sectorDegree or HNC in Engineering or related disciplinePackage & Benefits:£60,000 basic salary + up to £30,000 OTE£5,000 car allowancePrivate healthcare & pension schemeExcellent career progression into sales leadership or project managementThis is an exciting opportunity for a driven Technical Sales Manager with strong technical credibility and commercial flair to join a company recognised for delivering excellence across the healthcare sector#J-18808-Ljbffr
