Location: Hatfield, AL10 Salary: 50,000 55,000 per year (depending on experience) Contract: Permanent, Full-timeImportant: Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and a full clean driving licence.About the RoleWe are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a childrens residential home supporting young people aged 818 who may have experienced trauma or challenging early life experiences.This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and positive outcomes for the children and young people living in the home. You will oversee the day-to-day running of the home, lead and support the staff team, and ensure the service meets all safeguarding and regulatory requirements.You will also contribute to the ongoing development of the home, helping to maintain high standards of residential childcare.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, supervise, and support the residential childcare teamManage staff rotas and ensure appropriate staffing levelsProvide mentoring, supervision, and support staff developmentEnsure each childs care plan is followed and their needs are metMaintain high standards of safeguarding and child protectionWork with external professionals including health, education, and therapy servicesOversee the day-to-day running of the home and ensure a safe, welcoming environmentMaintain accurate records and ensure regulatory complianceManage the homes budget and operational responsibilitiesParticipate in on-call duties when requiredEssential RequirementsMinimum 5 years experience in residential childcareAt least 2 years in a senior residential childcare roleStrong knowledge of safeguarding, child xjdpvnf protection, and childrens home regulationsExperience managing staff, rotas, and care deliveryExcellent leadership and communication skillsFull clean driving licenceQualification Requirement Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Children and Young Peoples Residential Management)DesirableSocial Work qualification or relevant post-qualifying awardExperience in therapeutic or trauma-informed childcareHow to ApplyFor more information or to apply, please contact:Emma Brown Option 2 for healthcare
