Tool FittingMaintain the all-tool fitting equipment, ensure equipment is safe before use and is also left safe for the next user.Report all tool issues identified whilst tool fitting.Carryout maintenance on machine chests, seal, spray frames and otherCommunicate all concerns from tool and machine condition and safety concerns, take appropriate action within your competency level to fix concerns.Assist with training in fitting when required to do soCarryout the setup of machines and to understand the process in fullComplete the first drop sample of parts on your tool fit to ensure there are no issues with the tool fit.Understand the first off procedure and support the processAble to prep and de-prep tools, to understand the process and support when requiredMaintain your machines in line with the machine ownership programme, improving the visual appearance and functionality of your machines.To complete all tool fits and insert changes safely and to a high standard within the required timescalesComplete any reasonable requests issued by the team leader including but not limited to, break cover, tech duties, 5S, housekeeping and repair workTool preparationCarryout tool maintenance to scheduleEnsure all tools are labelled and stored correctlySupport the NPI process by inspecting new tooling upon arrival and report any issues.Complete tool overhauls and services, e.g. re-securing cavities, re-drilling and re-tapping damaged or stripped bolts and adding core vents etc.Maintain all equipment including gun refurbishment, receiver frames, spray frames, Enstats, bead pipes, airlines and backloading frames.Conduct monthly stock checks and advise of any shortages.
