HGV Class 1 Tramper

The Staffing Network is a National labour provider across the UK.The Staffing Network are recruiting HGV Class 1 Tramping Drivers for our client based Spalding, LincolnshireThe ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires experience in commercial driving, particularly with curtainsided vehicles, and a commitment to providing excellent service.ResponsibilitiesOperate fridge/curtainsided trailers to transport goods to designated locations.Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing loads appropriately.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of vehicle maintenance.Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or inquiries from clients.RequirementsFull UK driver License, C1 Licence, Driver CPC, DQC, no more than 6 points on licenseProven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with fridge/curtainsided lorries.Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for driving.Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism on the road.Shift:Tramping Wednesday to Sunday / Friday to TuesdayLTD pay rate:Monday To Friday 16.50Saturday 17.00Sunday 18.50Night out 26.00Experience:HGV Class 1 (2 years required)All Staffing Network Employees get our Discount App offering up to 75% discounts online and up to 8% off on the High Street!Quick ApplyJBRP1_UKTJ
