Process Development Technologist - Chilled Food Manufacturing Location:Spalding Salary:£28,500-£30,000 (flexible depending on experience) Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (flexibility required for early trials) Type:Full-time, Permanent About the Role: We're working with a leading chilled food manufacturer supplying major retailers including Morrisons and Co-op. Due to a recent departure, they're looking for aProcess Development Technologistto join their small, close-knit team. This is a fast-paced environment where adaptability and a positive attitude are key. Key Responsibilities: Manage product development fromconcept through to launch , ensuring all stages are completed to a high standard. Supportpackaging sign-offand approve non-legal artwork. Participate intaste panels- must be able to taste test products (not suitable for those with gluten allergies). Assist withlegal labelling(training provided - certification not required). Collaborate with the Process Manager and fellow Technologist oninnovation projects , including emerging trends like Asian flavours. Work flexibly to support trials, which may requireearly starts (e.g. 6am)or later finishes. What We're Looking For: Minimum 1 yearin a process technologist role, ideally within chilled food manufacturing. Experience working in ahigh-speed production environment . Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Comfortable with change and able to adapt to shifting priorities. Qualifications:Degree not essential - experience is key. HACCP Level 2/3 is a bonus. A team player with apositive attitudeand willingness to learn.
