Were recruiting for a professional and detail-driven Document Specialist to join a respected legal team in Spalding.Learn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills.This is a key support role where you'll be responsible for formatting, preparing, and managing legal documents to a consistently high standard. Youll be part of a fast-paced business support team, working closely with partners, fee earners and admin colleagues.As the Document Specialist , you'll manage a busy workload of document creation, audio typing, proofreading, and file conversion. Your skills will help keep operations running smoothly, and your accuracy will ensure the highest level of service to clients and internal teams.What youll be doing:Creating, amending, and formatting a wide range of legal and commercial documentsTyping from audio dictation and ensuring accurate formatting throughoutChecking documents for consistency, spelling and grammar before submissionConverting documents between PDF, Word, and Excel formatsManaging electronic files and uploading them to the firms case management systemProviding quick turnaround support to partners and fee earnersWhat were looking for:A background in legal, financial or professional servicesAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, especially WordFast and accurate audio typing (60+ wpm preferred)A high level of attention to detail and document accuracyConfidence handling confidential and sensitive informationYoull be joining a firm known for its high standards, collaborative approach and excellent working environment.
