Accounts Supervisor

Accounts Supervisor - Southport- Permanent - 30,000k Per Annum. Forrest Recruitment are pleased to announce we are working with a global manufacturing company who have been established for over 40 years. They are seeking an experienced Accounts Supervisor to oversee the smooth running of the accounts department - this role the potential to progress to Finance Manager. You will be involved in all round accounts using Sage 200 and your duties will include: Purchase Ledger - processing supplier invoices/credits/payments runs Sales Ledger - producing monthly customer statements Credit Control - gentle reminders to customers to pay Payroll - full end to end weekly for 55 staff using timesheets, calculating holidays/sickness, submitting RTI to HMRC, pensions auto enrolment using Sage Payroll, processing starters, leavers, SSP/SMP, yearend payroll, PAYE VAT Returns Bank Reconciliation Liaising with suppliers and customers Month end and year end accounts - preparing reports Using Excel for reporting Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm To be successful you will need all round accounts experience and be a confident user of Sage 50/200. You will be an approachable, team player who is able to communicate at all levels. AAT qualified would be preferred, however will consider QBE.
