IC Resources is working with a leading IP vendor at the forefront of satellite and 5G communications. They're developing world-class baseband signal processing IP and are looking to expand their hardware team with an FPGA Engineer focused on cutting-edge space-grade solutions.This FPGA Engineer role offers the chance to work on revolutionary IP that will enable global 5G coverage via satellite, using advanced FPGAs and space-qualified ASICs.As an FPGA Engineer, you will:Translate complex signal processing algorithms into efficient RTL architecturesDesign and verify FPGA and ASIC IP using Verilog/SystemVerilogValidate and integrate designs on the latest FPGA development platformsCollaborate across architecture, verification, and physical implementation teamsContribute to UVM test environments and technical documentationKey skills required for the FPGA Engineer:Strong RTL experience (Verilog/SystemVerilog) targeting FPGAs or ASICsSkilled in timing closure, synthesis, and power/resource optimisationExperience working on high-throughput digital signal processing blocksFamiliarity with communications algorithms (e.g. FEC, beamforming) is a bonusKnowledge of UVM, scripting (Python), or AMBA protocols is desirableIf you’re interested in the position of FPGA Engineer, please apply or contact Sam Cruse.
